Get 'full IMAP support is NOT enabled for this account' error for email accounts hosted on Godaddy

Hi,
While ConnectSSL and Login are successful for email accounts hosted on godaddy (imap.secureserver.net), none of the methods like GetFolders or Examine are working. We get this exception - [ALERT] full IMAP support is NOT enabled for this account.

Can you please guide on how we can access emails from godaddy email accounts?

It seems full IMAP support is available only in certain plans of GoDaddy:

Only Unlimited Email plan supports IMAP. If you do not have an Unlimited Email plan and you want to use IMAP, you can upgrade your plan.

  • Log in to your Account Manager.
  • Click Email. If your email plan is an Unlimited Email plan, IMAP is supported. If not, next to the account you want to upgrade,
  • click Options.
  • Go to the Overview tab, and then
    from the Upgrade menu, select Unlimited.
  • Click Upgrade. Continue
  • the checkout process.

Upgrading your email account to support IMAP can take up to 24 hours.
