Automatically find the correct whois server

Can your Whois.dll automatically find the correct whois server for a particular domain?

Your sample code requires the correct whois server to be entered manually here:path.StartServer = ""

If no whois server is entered an exception is thrown; does the registered version parse the domain so that the correct server does not have to be entered?

Yes, Whois.dll uses TLD and ".whois-servers.net" search: the name tld.whois-servers.net is a CNAME to the appropriate whois server.
